Random Thoughts

Nope I was in the "corporate limits" of Nickelsville. Damn thing jumped outta somebody's yard. Luckily I hit the smallest of them. Probably won't have the truck anymore for a month or so though.

I've lived here nearly all my life and I can count on one hand the number of times I've been to Nickelsville.

I can't tell you a good reason to come to Nickelsville.

Maybe back a few years ago when we had that killer basketball team, but that is it.

Went once for an 8th grade football game the rest have been for basketball.

Yeah and you guys beat us. THen we came down the park and beat you guys. I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly we shut you out and you didn't cross the fifty but maybe once. I was on that team. Somebody in your stands kept ringing a cowbell haha..

Shows the differences in the programs I think. We could hang with you guys then, but look at the end result.

Lost to VHS and TS, yet 4 years later we won the region...... Shows how much 8th grade and jv means.

and twin springs was in no way as competitive as you guys were. shows how your program shaped you/molded you into better players and a better team.

we had some serious athletes when i was at ts. we could have easily won the region in baseball, basketball, and football when i was a junior and senior if the coaching and tradition and all that jazz would have been in place.

TS fielded some nice basketball teams in my high school days.

Yeah definitely. But that is all they know at TS is basketball. Some pretty underhanded politics happen up there when that sport is involved.

I think you graduated in 05 like i did, and that is one of the best teams i have ever seen assembled around here.

Warner, Dockery, Smith, Webb, Lindholm, Jovanovich all played for at least a little while on the collegiate level. They had a few players who got shortchanged on that whole ordeal and didn't see the floor enough to get a chance to play college ball, and some of them definitely might have been able to had they gotten more minutes.

Yea thats the same year I graduated. Good game you all had against GC that year.
